Buffalo, NY (WBEN) 24 year old Devin M. Ford was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison after causing a deadly crash last year in Buffalo.
During the early morning hours of March 21st, 2024 Ford drove at a high rate of speed on Main when crashed into another vehicle at the Humboldt Parkway intersection. Ford was arrested as he was climbing out of his car.
Four people were in the other car, 27 year old Nasir Musazada was a rideshare driver who died at ECMC, as did one of his passengers, 26-year-old Morgan Ehrenbeit of Ohio. Another rear seat passenger, a 31-year-old from Ohio, suffered serious physical injuries and remains in a long-term rehabilitation facility. The front seat passenger, another 31-year-old man from Ohio, was released from the hospital after receiving treatment for injuries to his spine and ribs.
Ford pleaded guilty to manslaughter and assault charges in January.
