Early Thursday morning fire in Buffalo ruled an arson

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A fire at a vacant building in Buffalo has been deemed an arson by the Buffalo Fire Department.

Fire officials say crews responded to 19 Deshler Street around 3:20 a.m. EST on Thursday. The two-story building was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters used defensive measures to contain the fire. Damages are estimated to be around $75,000.

There were no injuries to any firefighters that responded to the call. Buffalo Fire is asking the public to report any suspicious activity as they investigate.
