Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - Cheektowaga Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred Monday night.
Police say officers responded to a call around 7:20 p.m. EST at 168 Losson Road. 42-year-old Antwain Hankle was clearing snow from his vehicle on the side of the road when he was struck by a vehicle traveling Westbound.
After striking Hankle, the driver continued without stopping.
The vehicle is described as a gray, newer model Ford Explorer.
Cheektowaga Police Accident Investigators are investigating the incident. Police are encouraging witnesses and anyone with footage of the incident to contact the Investigation Unit at (716)-686-3527.
