Buffalo, NY (WBEN) New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced Friday two local companies are expanding, creating a total of more than 800 jobs. One of the companies will expand to Seneca One Tower, where the economic development event was held.
AML RightSource, the world's largest technology-enabled financial crime fighting firm, is expanding in Buffalo and will add an additional 363 employees to support the addition of new services and clients, resulting in a total Buffalo workforce of approximately 540 employees.
"AML RightSource is another success story for Western New York as it grows and provides hundreds of well-paying new jobs in the iconic Seneca One Tower - a building that was empty just a few years ago," Governor Hochul said. "These are the types of professional and high-tech jobs that will keep our new college graduates in the area, while also attracting other high-quality talent to the region."
Hochul says AML RightSource created a branch in Buffalo in 2019, selecting the location due to its close proximity to the company's northeast Ohio operations, accessibility to a large pool of qualified and talented job candidates, and available space to support a growing workforce. She adds the new location in the Seneca One Tower is designed to attract high-level professionals.

The help wanted sign is also going up at Moog, as 500 jobs are being created. It's part of a $25 million investment, which Hochul says programs that will be supported by the project include the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, V-22 Osprey tiltrotor, full flight training simulators, and hardware for satellites and NASA programs.
This is the third project for Moog that New York State has assisted in recent years. A new 95,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to further support Moog's growing Aircraft Group was completed in 2020. That $44 million project created 100 new jobs and was granted $4 million in Excelsior tax credits.
The 500 new jobs at Moog will include engineering, production line workers, assembly and test, machinists and technicians, manufacturing and support, as well as administration.
