BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN)......The St. Casmir School, a longtime community anchor in Buffalo's Kaisertown neighborhood has been sold.
Investors Acrive Cor Corp paid $475,000 for the vacant former parochial school that was once connected to St. Casmir Church.
The 40,000-square-foot building located at 1823 Clinton Street was last used as a school in 1990, when St. Casmir's School saw its last class leave the property.
In the interim years, the building was used as a community center.
Funds from the sale will help finance the operations of St. Casmir Church, which remains open.
