Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police have arrested a Buffalo man following a robbery at a vape shop last month.

Back on Jan. 17, detectives say 26-year-old Anthony Cornwell entered the Delaware Avenue store and pistol whipped two people while taking cash, an iPad, a wallet and merchandise from the store.

After an investigation, police caught up to Cornwell on Tuesday, apprehending him without incident.

Police say a search warrant was obtained and conducted in the 2600 block of Delaware Avenue, where several .22 caliber rounds and suspected stolen property from the robbery were recovered.

Cornwell has been charged with one felony count of first degree robbery.
