Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - One person is dead after a fire broke out Saturday evening at a home on 112 Rano St. in Buffalo’s Riverside neighborhood. Officials said the blaze started around 6:21 p.m. in the front of the house.
A firefighter was injured while responding to the scene and was taken to a hospital. The firefighter is expected to recover.
The fire spread to two neighboring homes, causing an estimated $225,000 in damage to the primary residence.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
