Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The man accused of killing an Allentown couple was arraigned Wednesday morning. Bryan Chiclana faces first and second degree murder charges.

Attorneys for Chiclana entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. With an indication a psychiatric defense may be used, Erie County DA Mike Keane says Chiclana's attorneys have until the next court date to submit such a defense, April 21.

Chiclana is accused of intentionally hitting two victims with an object while inside of their shared apartment. The victims, 40-year-old Michael “Mickey” Harmon and 37-year-old Jordan Celotto, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that both victims died as a result of blunt force trauma.
