Evans, N.Y. (WBEN) - Evans police have made an arrest in connection with a hit-and-run in the town on Monday. The suspect is a 17-year-old who turned himself into police on Tuesday.
Police say the teen has been cooperating with detectives. He is charged with leaving the scene of a property accident. Because of his age, the suspect's name will not be released.
Police say the victim was at his mailbox at 7380 Derby Road when a vehicle struck him. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center with multiple injuries.
