Buffalo, NY (WBEN) When the Sabres travel to Boston for games 3 and 4, there's no doubt a contingent of Sabres fans will be in Beantown as well, AAA says you will have to spend several hundred for the trip.

AAA says there are direct (nonstop) flights from Buffalo to Boston, but last-minute airfare is always higher. AAA says the cheapest roundtrip flights from Buffalo to Boston were starting at about $400 (leaving Thursday and returning Friday) and higher to leave Saturday and return after Sunday’s game. AAA notes prices typically go up closer to the travel date.

When it comes to hotels, there are several hotel options available at various rates near the arena with several in the $200 to $300 per night range.

AAA says when it comes to driving, it is about 458 miles from Key Bank Center to TD Garden – driving would take roughly 7 hours. If you drove a 2021 Ford Escape FWD (average about 34 MPG) it would cost about $54 in gas each way, or $108 roundtrip, and that cost could be split among passengers.

If you're looking for tickets, AAA says the lowest prices for the Thursday game started at just over $200 with prices a bit higher for Sunday’s afternoon game.

Game 3 is Thursday, with game 4 on Sunday.
