Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The popular Spring Artisan Market will make its annual return on Thursday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-to-2 p.m. ET in the Larkin at Exchange Building, located at 726 Exchange Street in the City of Buffalo.
Nearly 40 vendors are scheduled to participate in this unique shopping event, which will take place in the building's main lobby and concourse. Free parking during the event is available in the parking lots on Exchange Street. Enjoy breakfast or lunch before or after you shop. Admission to the Spring Artisan Market is free.

Monday's national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.53, up six cents from last Monday. The New York State average is $3.43, also up six cents from one week ago. In the Buffalo region, gas is averaging $3.35 per-gallon at the pump, which is up five cents from last Monday.
While domestic gas demand has been lackluster, rising oil prices helped to push pump prices higher. The demand for gasoline increasing during spring break also pushes pump prices higher. The upward trend in gas prices is not unusual this time of year. Another critical factor is the arrival of more expensive summer blend gas, which tends to increase pump prices by 10 to 15 cents. That transition is already underway in some parts of the country.

Zetti's Pizza & Pasta has called it quits for good.
The pizzeria at 4621 Maple Road in Amherst was shut down twice last year after seizures by state officials for nonpayment of taxes. This time is for good, according to owner John Fusco, who confirmed the closure during a brief phone call with Buffalo Business First.
It appears the site won't remain vacant for long, as Landlord Benderson Development is already getting calls about the space adjacent to the University at Buffalo's North Campus.
