Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - While some are trying to keep things simple, there are some costumes that are trending this Halloween.

One trend is tough for Karen Noe to get for customers at George & Co.

"The children are looking for K-Pop costumes, which I can't get. Unfortunately, it's a new thing," said Noe in an interview with WBEN.

One thing she does have that people want are accessories to costumes.

"They're coming in and saying, 'Hey, I am going to be a witch, but I have a cape, but I need new wig and hat and a nose,' so we can help them with all of that," Noe said.

She notes customers are looking for simple this year.

"It's going from I need the whole thing to I just want a few pieces," Noe explained.

What are the big trends this year?

"Pirates, the roaring 20s, the vampires," Noe answered. "Both the witch and the vampires are timeless. Superheroes are timeless. They never go out of style. They're just timeless people, just like they're superheroes. Right now, with two weeks [to go], I have a lot of people who are just looking at too so they're still getting ideas. They still don't know what they want to be."

Noe says masks like Frankenstein have fallen out of favor.
