During an interview on the right-wing conspiracy show Infowars, former White House adviser Steve Bannon claimed that the “deep state” is attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

The claims from Bannon came after Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida was raided by the FBI for what he called “planted” evidence.

“I do not think it’s beyond this administrative state and their deep state apparatus to actually try to work on the assassination of President Trump. I think – I think everything’s on the table,” Bannon said while speaking with Infowars host Alex Jones.

Bannon continued saying that not only was the raid wrong, but he thinks that Trump should have announced that he was running for president in 2024 from his home the next day.

“I think he should have flown down in Mar-a-Lago this morning, walked out there at noon today, and said, hey, I’m running for president, United States. Suck on that,” Bannon said.

Bannon continued by saying that the president’s Florida residence is a staple not just for the “MAGA” movement but also for “the American people.” He also referred to it as “one of the great buildings in this country.”

“We need...you [Donald Trump] need to get to Mar-a-Lago, the exact place that they desecrated because it was a desecration,” Bannon said. “They did it on purpose.”

Bannon then turned his sights to the FBI and Department of Justice, saying they are “essentially lawless criminal organizations” for carrying out the raid.

But the former adviser has had his own run-in with the law after he was convicted of two counts of ignoring a Congressional subpoena last month for refusing to testify before the Jan. 6 committee. The charges could see him spend as many as two years in prison.

Jones has made headlines of his own as of late after it was revealed that a copy of his phone with up to two years of text messages on it was sent by his attorneys to the legal team representing two parents from the Sandy Hook shooting suing Jones for defamation.

Despite having to pay $50 million in damages to the family for his false statements, Jones has continued to share crazy conspiracies, including one that the midterm elections could be victim to a terrorist attack by former President “Obama and his people.”

As for the raids, Trump was the first to break the news that the FBI was at his home and has called them “prosecutorial misconduct” as he claims they have weaponized the justice system against him so he wouldn’t run in the 2024 presidential election.
