Kyle Rittenhouse has announced he'll be attending Texas A&M - but that's news to the university.
Rittenhouse made headlines when he traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020 during protests over a white police officer's fatal shooting of a black man. Rittenhouse came to the protests armed and shot and killed two men, wounding another. He was charged but argued self-defense and was acquitted on all charges including intentional homicide.
Rittenhouse is now saying he'll be attending Texas A&M saying he's going there and it's going to be awesome.
But A&M says Rittenhouse has not been admitted as a student.
It's not the first time he bragged about attending a school he wasn't admitted to. Rittenhouse testified he was studying nursing at Arizona State, but that university said he was not enrolled in the nursing program.
He did, however, take some online classes through the university's online program.
