We can all agree that cookies rock, but a certain type at Trader Joe’s may have taken that statement too literally as the grocery chain posted a recall for cookies that could contain actual pieces of rock.

Trader Joe’s announced a recall for certain batches of its Trader Joe’s Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies as they may contain rocks. There's no word on how the rocks became integrated with the cookies.

Affected by the recall are the almond windmill cookies with the SKU# 98744 and a sell-by date of 10/19/23 through 10/21/23 and the dark chocolate chunk and almond cookies with the SKU# 82752 and a sell-by date of 10/17/23 through 10/21/23.

Anyone who has a package of the recalled cookies is entitled to a refund, as the grocery chain is advising customers not to eat them. Trader Joe’s said that it has taken the cookies off of its store shelves and destroyed them.

Customers with questions are advised to contact Trader Joe’s via their support line at (626) 599-3817 or to send them an email.
