NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Caitlyn Jenner on Tuesday released her first campaign video for her California gubernatorial run.
In the three-minute video, titled “California is Worth Fighting For," Jenner says she is the "thoughtful disruptor" that the Golden State needs.
A key theme throughout the video, not surprisingly, is the perceived failure of Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is battling a recall.

“I’ve always been a dreamer," Jenner, 71, says in the video. "California was once the envy of the world. We had what everyone else wanted. The American Dream grew up here. Yet, career politicians and their policies have destroyed that dream ... California needs a disruptor—a thoughtful disruptor."
Jenner -- who had two daughters, model Kendall Jenner and beauty titan Kylie Jenner, with ex-wife Kris Jenner -- adds in the video, “I came here with a dream 48 years ago to be the greatest athlete in the world. Now I enter a different kind of race, arguably my most important one yet, to save California."
