Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) -It won't be a weekend washout by any stretch, but there will be some showers to dodge across the Buffalo-Niagara region both Saturday and Sunday, National Weather Service forecasters say.
"Even where we do see some showers, there will also be plenty of dry time," NWS forecasters say.
Temperatures Saturday will be seasonable, in the upper 50's to lower 60's.
A lingering low pressure system will still support a few light showers through the first half of the day Sunday across Western New York, with drying conditions following.
Dry conditions will return to the forecast for the early work week, before a cold front ushers in another chilly airmass for the second half of next week.
Highs will likely be in the 50's Wednesday through Friday, with more front and freeze potential at night. It will be dry most of the time, although there could be a few spotty light lake effect and upslope showers at times.
