Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Wall to wall sunshine is in the forecast for Memorial Day Monday across Western New York with temperatures forecast in the 70's.
The holiday marking the unofficial start to summer is living up to it's reputation with even more summer-like sizzle as the week progresses.
"Memorial Day promises to be another great day to be outdoors...
although it will become quite warm away from the lakes with an increase in humidity," say forecasters at the National Weather Service in Buffalo. "Afternoon temperatures should climb into the mid and upper 80s in most areas with some 90 degree readings possible in the Genesee valley and in some of the valleys of the southern tier."
"A cold front moving southward out of eastern Canada on Tuesday will sweep across New England and push back the wave of heat and humidity," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Mike LeSeney said.

Bountiful amounts of sunshine Tuesday will support a rather warm day with most of the areas seeing a range of 80s, while the Genesee Valley will warm up into the low 90s.
