Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Rain, rain is here to stay! At least through much of this abbreviated holiday week.
Unseasonable warmth will continue through mid week, National Weather Service forecasters say. A wave of low pressure will move northward over the area Wednesday with widespread, soaking rain. The widespread rain will end from west to east Wednesday evening, but the unsettled weather will continue through the end of the week with lingering showers at times.
The weather pattern will maintain light rain and dreary conditions over our region Thursday through Friday, with precipitation continuing Friday night.
Cold air will not arrive now for snow chances until Friday night, with little to no snow accumulation.
Cooler air will filter into the region throughout the end of 2023 and into the start of 2024 and support temperatures to approach near normal with some chance for lake-enhanced snow at times.
