Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The New Year's rain has changed to snow as temperatures have fallen below freezing across Western New York.
A coating of snow has glazed roadways, driveways and walkways with more in the forecast through the day Sunday.
Weather Advisories are posted for ALL of WNY as snow will continue with gusty winds, making for less than ideal conditions for the Buffalo Bills game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
Snow is expected to accumulate 2 to 4 inches through Sunday evening with the possibility of a period ice accumulating a tenth of an inch as well.
Temperatures will plummet as well with overnight lows into Monday forecast in the teens.
