The list of witnesses for the murder and manslaughter trial of Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd is now public.
There are nearly 400 people on the list, including the three former officers who were with Derek Chavin when he kneeled on Floyd's neck until he lost consciousness and died.
Also on the list are Floyd's brother and Darnella Frazier, the woman who recorded the act on her cellphone.
Frazier is among a handful of witnesses called by both prosecutors and defense attorneys... including Minneapolis police chief Maderia Arradondo and
fire chief Brian Tyner.
The defense team's witnesses include BCA agents, police officers, and expert witnesses from law enforcement and medicine.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin in just under four weeks.
The trial is scheduled to start March 8th, and Governor Walz has already activated the national guard in anticipation of unrest.
Chauvin's trial was separated from those of former officers J. Alexander Kueng, Tou Thao, and Thomas Lane, who'll be tried starting Aug. 23 on aiding and abetting charges.
