NYPD searching for CitiBike riders suspected in a pair of antisemitic attacks

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is searching for two people on a bike who they believe attacked Jewish people in Brooklyn last week.

Police said that at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, on the corner of Wallabout and Walton streets, the two suspects snuck up behind a 43-year-old man wearing traditional Jewish attire, and a passenger riding on the front of the bike slapped him on the back of the head.

In the same timeframe, a 24-year-old woman walking by 184 Wallabout St. in traditional Jewish attire was also slapped across the back of the head by the bike's passenger, police said.

Neither victim was seriously injured, according to police.

The NYPD has released pictures of the suspects, taken around 184 Wallabout St. at the time of the attack.
