Officials gathered to celebrate the rehabilitation and reopening of the rink, which was previously operated by the Trump Organization. Mayor Bill de Blasio terminated the city’s contract with the company after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

The new operators — a joint venture between Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Related Companies, and Equinox — have said they don’t plan to make a profit on the operation, CBS2 reported.

Tickets range between $6 and $23 depending on skaters’ ages and the time of day and must be purchased online.

Former President Donald Trump has spoken out about de Blasio's contract terminations — but has focused mostly on the Trump Organization's operations of the Ferry Point golf course in the Bronx. The organization has sued the city over the contract termination.
