NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Despite all of the challenges and the risks associated with COVID-19, the NFL still completed its 17-week regular season on time.
Games were rescheduled, teams were often shorthanded, and stadiums were (mostly) empty.
As the expanded playoffs kick off this weekend, WCBS 880 Morning Sports Anchor Brad Heller spoke to Andrew Catalon, play-by-play announcer for the NFL on CBS.
"I really tip my cap to the players and coaches who said, 'You know what, for this year, I'm not going to see my family for months.' I think that a lot of players, more than we really know, sacrificed a lot to play this season,” Catalon said.
