MLB reveals Yankees, White Sox jerseys for Field of Dreams game

The Yankees will go the distance and head to Iowa next Thursday, and Major League Baseball has released the jerseys that the Bombers and White Sox will be wearing for the first-ever Field of Dreams Game.

The Yankees’ threads seem to be getting mainly positive feedback on Twitter after their road jerseys were released, as MLB kept it simple with their early 20^th century look, keeping the classic road grays while adjusting the font to look more old school.

The White Sox’s home jerseys received a similar treatment.

The MLB at Field of Dreams game kicks off at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12, and will be the first time a major league game has been played in the state of Iowa. Tickets are selling for thousands of dollars as fans look for a chance to catch a real game at the site of the classic baseball film “Field of Dreams.”
