"It's me waving goodbye to all the fans, thanking them," Dennis explains why he split the album into two volumes. Although this is his last album, Dennis tells Scott & Patty, "I'm not saying I won't record a song once in a while, but no more albums for me Scott, that's it." Dennis knows the old way of doing things is over and agrees with Billy Joel retiring from making albums a long time ago. "The music business the way it's structured now," Dennis says, "people don't care about albums the way they used to it's fruitless to try and make a bunch of them."

So why did he make a farewell album? "Making albums is a little bit of a, it's like climbing up a hill that's just too damn high" he admits. "But I did it, I'm pleased with it, it's coming out, and people then can go, 'yea we love this guy,' or they can go... 'Billie Eilish is available!'"
