Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has made a lot of headlines since taking her oath of office in January 2019. Less than two years before Election Day, she faces an August 11 primary challenge in Minnesota's Fifth District from four challengers within her own party. She spoke with Roshini Rajkumar on REAL Talk with Roshini to share her take on recent headlines.

When asked about challenger Antone Melton-Meaux outraising her by just under three million dollars in the last three months, she said his average donations are $600 while hers are $14. She took issue with the types of people supporting him versus her--calling some of his supporters xenophobic.

Roshini asked her about feuds with President Trump on Twitter: "You have to stand up in this moment to President Trump... This is someone who targets everyone who shares many of the identities I have at every turn."
