On Saturday, WCCO Radio and Henry Lake hosted "What Needs to Change", a three hour roundtable discussion talking about race in Minnesota and around the country, in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

Met with protests, riots, and destruction around the Twin Cities over the past two weeks, Henry sat down with a number of guests to have a real, honest conversation of where we are at as a society, and how the African American community moves forward.

In the first hour, Henry talked to New Salem Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Jerry McAfee.  They look back on a rough last two weeks for the city of Minneapolis and try to answer the question, "Can we come together and produce change out of this tragic situation?"

Henry then talked with Community Organizer Mike Griffin.  Griffin started as a community organizer in 2015.  Now, another incident has brought those services to light.  What is his role as an organizer?  What is his hope for change to the local justice system?

Finally, Henry was joined by Big Tigger from sister station V103 in Atlanta.  He's the former host of BET's Rap City.  They were joined by lawyer, author and CNN political analyst Bakari Sellars, and also by author of We Matter: Athletes and Activism, and former NBA player Etan Thomas. You can listen to the entire three hour broadcast here.  Part 1:
