The six people killed in a Friday morning crash on Interstate 90 in southeastern Minnesota have been identified.
The crash happened when a car was heading east in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Eyota. The State Patrol says a Ford focus was going the wrong way when it slammed into a Chrysler Seabring.
Victims identified in the Chrysler:- 7-year-old Ester Peters of Rochester.
- 26-year-old Christopher Peterson of Rochester.
- 23-year-old Shayla Peterson of Paynesville.
Victims identified in the Ford:
- 54-year-old Shelia Eagle of Waukesha, Wis.
- 29-year-old Tamara Eagle of Waukesha, Wis.
- 11-year-old Nyobee Eagle Richardso of Waukesha, Wis.
The crash closed the westbound lanes between the Eyota and Hwy. 52 exits for about six hours. The road reopened to traffic around 7:30 a.m. Friday. It remains under investigation.
