At least six people were hurt when a van rammed into a Metro Transit bus stop at the corner of Broadway and Lyndale in Minneapolis.
Metro Transit spokesman Howie Padilla did not say how bad the injuries are, but noted that early indications are no one was fatally hurt.
The people who were hurt were taken to North Memorial Hospital.
The crash happened around 9:23 a.m. Tuesday.
Padilla told reporters that the van crashed into the mirror of a bus that was parked on Lyndale and letting people off, then backed away, hit the mirror again, and made a right-hand turn before smashing into the shelter.
It's not known why the van crashed into the bus stop, and the driver is cooperating with authorities.
