Michael and Susan Pretti marking nine months since their son Alex was shot and killed by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis.

During a press conference in Downtown Minneapolis the pair urged the Department of Justice to release investigative evidence and cooperate with state authorities.

Susan Pretti says they are tired of waiting for answers.

" We want our sons killers brought to justice once and for all." says Pretti, " Minnesotan's said no to this injustice, Americans said no to this injustice and today we are here begging the Department of Justice to do what is right.

She says the federal government continues to refuse to share evidence from that day as they continue to seek justice for their son.

"Michael and I are not asking for any special treatment, we do not want to be on TV, we are not political activists, nor do we want to become political activists, all we want is justice for Alex."

Joined by their lawyer, the family says three months they passed with no answer to a letter they sent to Attorney General Todd Blanche and have faced some alleged stonewalling from U.S. Attorney Dan Rosen on the topic.

So far the family has yet to file a civil or criminal complaint in the matter, they also say they have not been in touch with the family of Renee Good who was also shot and killed by federal agents earlier this year.
