It’s now more than 1,000 laboratory-confirmed cases in Minnesota. The exact number reported Tuesday by the state department of health is 1,069. That includes 549 patients who have recovered. The 34 deaths from coronavirus is an increase of four from Monday’s numbers.

There are now COVID-19 cases in 64 of Minnesota’s 87 counties. The new cases include the first reported in Roseau County, along Minnesota’s northern border with Canada, and Swift County, in the west-central region of the state.
This comes one month and one day since Minnesota reported its first coronavirus.
