A ninth  woman has accused former Minnesota senator Al Franken of groping her.

A New York Magazine story about women and men who reported sexual abuse and harassment features a woman who is coming forward for the first time.

The anonymous woman writes that Franken grabbed her buttocks as she was taking a picture with him in 2006.

Now a military veteran and senior staffer for a progressive organization, she explained that she kept silent due to embarrassment.

"At the time of the incident, I think, I’m going to go to law school," she wrote in New York Magazine. "All I want to do is run for office in my home state. This created a moment of reflection on like, Who the hell do you think you are? There is something that tells men that they, particularly those who have a lot of power, that they have access to my body in some way that is based on the hierarchy of the organization that we’re working in or society or whatever it is."

Franken resigned in 2017 and now hosts a Sirius XM radio show.
