Two 20-foot tall balloon depicting President Trump as a crying baby are visible near Target Center ahead of his campaign rally Thursday night.
'Baby Trump' has been used at protests across the U.S. -- and even in several other countries. It's a caricature showing him in a diaper with a crying expression.
Local organizers contacted Jim Girvan, who operates the balloons. He brought two and had dubed the pair the "Twins in the Twin Cities."
"People on a daily basis give their commentary on Trump and his atrocious behavior and they use words, words, words, words, and a lot of times the message just gets muffled by its being so much," he said. "It's an overload. An image speaks for itself. You don't have to say anything. All you have to do it blow it up and it does all the speaking for you."
One is inflated near the Saloon nightclub on Hennepin Ave. and another balloon is currently being put up near First Avenue night club, across the street from Target Center.
