The Eagan Police Department shared a traffic stop in which an officer pulled over a driver who was allegedly texting, which is already illegal, by the way. According to audio from the encounter the officer also saw them raise the phone to their ear, which is now against the law.

No joke, this driver was texting about the ‘hands free law’ while I was watching her in the next lane. She then put phone up to her ear to make a call. Thanks for spreading the word but COME ON! She was given a citation #HandsFreeMN pic.twitter.com/cRXfYpwGDb
