Authorities in Foley say they have captured a missing emu described as a "habitual runaway."
The Benton County Sheriff's Office posted Sunday night on their Facebook page that the big bird was located, that investigators "completed their questioning and released him to his owner."
Also, they say, the emu was placed on house arrest in an attempt to avoid a repeat of the situation.
It all started Saturday when two emus and a dog wandered away from where they were being kept in the town northeast of St. Cloud.
One of the emus and the dog were located shortly after their escape, leaving the one exotic bird on the loose.
Emus are the second-largest living birds in the world by height behind the ostrich, and they can sprint up to 30 miles an hour.
