Authorities have identified the 12-year-old boy who was killed in a snowmobile crash.
Bryson Palmquist was prounounced dead at the scene Saturday afternoon at 4:44 p.m. in the town of Nicollet.
The snowmobile crashed near the intersection of Pine St. and Second St. on the northern side of the community.
That's adjacent to a baseball/softball complex and not far from the town's high school.
The Nicollet County sheriff's office has not released details of the crash.
The boy is from New Ulm, which is about 15 miles to the west of the crash site.
The state patrol and a Mayo Clinic helicopter assisted at the scene.
