The Twins are staying right where they are on the airwaves.

WCCO radio will continue broadcasting Twins baseball as the team's flagship station through the year 2023 after the two sides extended the team's current contract with parent company Entercom.

The four-year contract extension includes having all of the exhibition, regular season, and playoff games simulcast on WCCO's sister station The Wolf, at 102.9 FM.

We're excited to announce that 102.9 The Wolf will simulcast the 830 WCCO radio broadcast of our games. We will now have games broadcasted on AM & FM signals in the Twin Cities metro area! #MNTwins pic.twitter.com/kXFK3N6v0Y

"I can't imagine another team that has the coverage that we have," said St. Peter. "WCCO blankets the midwest and now an FM in our home market, that's something we're thrilled about. It's just great access to Twins baseball on the radio, which is such a huge part of the spring and summertime, and hopefully the fall, for years to come here in Minnesota."

The Twins join the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians as the only four major league baseball clubs ito have both an AM and FM presence in their designated market area.

At a combined 150,000 watts, the Twins now have the most expansive flagship radio coverage of any team in the big leagues.
