St. Paul Police are investigating a fatal two-car crash.
First responders arrived at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Concord and Page Streets, south of the St. Paul Downtown Airport.
St. Paul Police Department spokesman Sgt. Mike Ernster says a 19-year-old in a Honda Civic was driving southeast on Concord when it struck the victim's Saturn as it was pulling out of a driveway near Page, intending to go the opposite direction.
Officers found the man trapped in the Saturn. Fire Paramedics tried to free him and treat him, but the unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jose Vasquez Guillen, of St. Paul, who was driving the Civic, was transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was released later Wednesday and booked Ramsey County Jail for criminal vehicular homicide.
Police say alcohol is "suspected" in the crash, but it remains under investigation. There were no other reported injuries, according to Ernster.
