Fans of the '90s and '00s pop boy band sounds will be excited to go to Mystic Lake Casino on December 21st. "A Boy Band Christmas" is coming to town to ring in the holiday with some of the 90s/00s biggest boy band artists from 98 Degrees, O-Town, and All-4-One.
Jeff Timmons, founding member of 98 Degrees, says that this could have been a show with his band, but some scheduling conflicts made this ensemble work.
"The dates were supposed to be for 98 Degrees, but because of scheduling conflicts Nick, unfortunately, couldn't do it. We've seen that the fans really have embraced these combination lineups with tours like My2K, and shows like Pop 2000, so we figured why not do a version for the holidays?"
Timmons and other boy band-era artists got together for "A Very Boy Band Christmas" last year on ABC. He says that getting together with these artists again for a tour allows them to do some special things with the classics.
"I'm excited to be a part of this, because all of the artists are extremely talented and have sold a combined 85 Million albums! I really enjoy holiday music too, as it naturally is arranged with lots of harmonies which will give us an opportunity to create some really cool versions of these classics."
Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10am for their show at Mystic Lake Casino. A presale code can be found on the tour's website.
