An Instacart delivery driver is believed to have run over the groceries that an elderly couple ordered through the service due to a pro-police yard sign.

The Blaine Police Department on Monday said the incident happened December 6 after the elderly couple ordered groceries through the service from a local Cub Foods. According to police, the couple was worried the driver might get stuck in their driveway because of the snow and decided to meet the drive outside.
When the couple got outside, the delivery driver yelled at them to check the inside of their Christmas wreath where the couple found the receipt to their order with a derogatory message. The driver was also driving back and forth in the driveway, on top of the groceries.
The delivery driver, who has been identified, has not been charged in the incident and Instacart issued the couple a full refund.
Instacart said they haver removed the shopper from their platform.
