First came Tom Morello, guitarist for Rage Against the Machine, who held a benefit concert at First Avenue during the ICE operations in the Twin Cities.
Then a song of protest about Minneapolis from Bruce Springsteen, who then shows up on stage with Morello at the concert. He's also coming back with a full tour stop in March.
Earlier this week, another song from veteran Irish rock band U2 called “American Obituary,” about Renee Good and Minneapolis.
Now it is Brandi Carlile's turn.
"Hey, I just want to let everyone know that I'm gonna be live streaming 'Be Human,' a concert from Minneapolis this Saturday night from the Target Center," said Carlile in a video. "To join us and watch the concert live, head to VEEPS.com/brandicarlile from wherever you are in the world, and we're gonna be donating all proceeds from the live stream to the Advocates for Human Rights."
The stream live from Target Center costs $29.99 with all proceeds going to legal aid for those impacted by the recent federal immigration crackdown in Minnesota.
