Dress for Success empowers low income women to to achieve economic independence though networking. Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Silvers says beyond providing new outfits they offer social services and support for women.

"We know about one in three of the women we serve have probably gone through some sort of abuse," Silvers says. "Building new relationships to come out of that abuse is really vital for success. Our women tend to do better when they have other services attached."

After a fire destroyed their store front in 2021 the group decided to take its mission on the road in a RV called the success express visiting locations such as prisons, shelter and more.

"There's dressing rooms on your RV? That can sound weird, so how do we make it comfortable and inviting," says Silvers. "We really know our women are special so we wanted the space to feel special. And we're here to support them no matter where they're at."

Dress for Success provides low income women the tools that are essential to finding and maintaining employment. Through employment readiness workshops, individual career coaching, and additional career support they help women to define their own path to success.
