The city of St. Paul has released the full, redacted investigative report done by an outside law firm on misconduct claims involving Mayor Kaohly Her.
As was reported in the firm's summary last month, the 76-page report outlines numerous instances where Her's behavior violated city workplace policies, but the report claims that none violated the city's sexual harassment policy.
Names were redacted from the released report.
The report details numerous conversations and meetings between Her and Police Chief Axel Henry that had been previously reported.
Henry is suing the mayor and the city for sexual harassment and retaliation. The suit, filed in Ramsey County, alleges significant harassment, some of which had been discussed publicly, but also includes many new claims.
In a statement provided to WCCO Radio when the suit was filed, Henry's attorney Chris Madel said that the public needed to know the full story, which was not laid out in the city's HR summary.
"Axel Henry is an honorable man and a dedicated public servant," Madel said. "He didn't come forward for attention or advantage — he came forward because what happened was wrong and needed to be reported. We look forward to proving our allegations in a court of law, where all evidence, not some sanitized summary written by the City about itself, can finally be heard."
