Police in St. Paul are investigating a reported homicide in the greater East Side neighborhood.
It happened around midnight early Tuesday in the 1500 block of Jessamine Lane, located southeast of Lake Phalen.
Officers say they found a man in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police spent the night looking for any witnesses and possible video from the area.
No arrests have been made and so far no indentification of the victim.
This is the 35th reported homicide of the year in St. Paul.
