Impaired driving once again was a big problem facing local and state law enforcement during Minnesota's winter holiday period.
Statistics released Friday by the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety show 2,432 drivers were cited for impaired driving throughout the state in the period between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
That number is an increase of 204 compared to the same time period is 2022.
The numbers come from Minnesota's 279 law enforcement agencies.
