The heat advisory that went into effect Monday and lasted through the night has been canceled by the National Weather Service.

The decision was made because of Tuesday morning cloud cover and the increased chance of showers.

That combination has dropped expected highs and heat index values several degrees.

But it's still going to be low 90's on Tuesday, with the humidity making it feel even warmer.

Forecasters say we should see continued high temperatures in the 90's through the end of the month.
