
Tickets for one of the nation's largest outdoor Asian food festivals that's coming to the Twin Cities later this summer go on sale Wednesday morning.
Panda Fest will bring more than 100 Asian food vendors to the Mall of America this July along with over 50 Asian specialty handicraft products, performances and more.
The outdoor festival is brings in natiowide Asian influences.
"We have a bunch of vendors who provide very unique and traditional Asian cuisine, and they are only based in East Coast or based in, you know, West Coast like Los Angeles. East Coast, like New York. So we will encourage them to travel with us together," says, founder and organizer BiuBiu Xu.
Panda Fest will include an Asian market along with cultural performances.
"We want to give people like immersive feeling and interaction, not only with food, but also have performances," Xu explains.
And yes, Panda Fest WILL include a 15-foot inflatable panda for photo opportunities.
Panda Fest will takeover the Mall of America from July 11th through the 13th. Festival founder and organizer BiuBiu Xu says Panda Fest will bring the most authentic Asian cuisine found in America to Minnesota.
"You know, Chinese food, Korean food, Thai food, Japanese food, Indonesia food, and we will have a lot of vendors," says Xu. "They are from other outside of state, not only from Minnesota."
The festitival will set up in the Mall of America's North Parking Lot off of Lindau Avenue.
The event will run:
Friday, July 11 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday morning via the Panda Fest website. Early Bird tickets are $10 (Ends on 3/30/2025) with General Admission for $14 and VIP for $35.
