Minneapolis police are looking into the death of a teenager, who was shot and killed Monday night outside his home in the Phillips neighborhood.
Police were called to the 1100 block of 25th Street after 7:00 p.m. Early information is that the 17-year old boy was shot outside his home before running inside and collapsing.
Emergency measures were taken but the teen died. There are no arrests yet.
In a statement, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara asked for anyone who knew what happened to contact investigators.
O'Hara added that people must work together to end "this level of violence in our neighborhoods."
