Wednesday's rain kept all but one class from deciding who will play for state championships in the 2022 Minnesota High School State Baseball tournament at Target Field on Friday.
The first Class AAAA semifinal game between top-seeded Farmington and fourth-seeded Maple Grove was suspended Wednesday afternoon and will resume play Thursday with the game scoreless in the second inning.
Second-seeded Stillwater is scheduled to face Chanhassen at 2:30 p.m. in the second AAAA semifinal game at CHS Field in St. Paul.
Friday's championship round schedule:
Class A - #1 Hayfield vs #2 Randolph (10 a.m. Friday)
Class AA - #1 Fairmont vs Roseau (1 p.m. Friday)
Class AAA - #1 Mankato West vs #2 Benilde-St. Margaret's (4 p.m. Friday)
Class AAAA - TBD (7 p.m. Friday)
